The Lord — Part 3 : The Dream Just Began
The sun has set and the moon has risen from its sleep, and with the moon, so shall Xylia rise from her coffin to see the presence of Kaido. The vampire lord looks rather worried today and his attire doesn’t match the usual organized ensemble. “I wonder what your plan is?” Xylia mutters, looking at his mysterious red eyes with hunger on her own. “I brought something for you,” he replies to her. “I was expecting a present. After all, we haven’t seen each other for 279 years,” she says sarcastically, looking at the blood tablet and cup of water he has in his hand. With no hesitation, she grabs the tablet and puts it in the glass of water. She drinks it and lets drops of the fake blood fall down her face and onto her cloak. Once the blood gave her energy to leave her bed, she got up and gave a hug to her dear brother welcoming him.
Fighting the battle within him, Lord Kaido knows that what he is about to do is no good for his sister. He squeezes her more as a sign of affection but opens his mouth with his fangs sticking out. He bites into her neck, making the blood of the young girl spill. As he continues to drink her blood, the life in her thin body leaves. Death. This is the outcome of a pure blood’s bite. “I’m sorry, X,” Kaido whispers in her ears and drops her on the floor. After some time, her body crystallized the way a vampire’s body would when death comes upon them. The Lord’s business is finished here and he leaves the room having no intentions of returning to give his sister a proper burial.
