From dusk till dawn, the Minister sits in his office with no responsibility other than to keep in contact with his fellow aristocratic friends and human relations. But tonight, he has been busy listening to none other than his most useless and unnecessarily philosophical friend, Jin.

“I went out for a walk today, and the weather was something of my concern. It started out with a gust of wind, which led on to lightning and finally, rain. Lots of rain,” says Jin.

“So, what does this have to do with me?” The minister questions his comrade.

“The signs are everywhere. Lord Kaido will harm the well-being of you and all vampires. He is a greedy and bloodthirsty pure blood,” he responded. “I cannot puppet you, dear sir, but I am here to advise you, to help you. Please, dear sir, you adopted him whilst he was just an orphan. But the way you treated him was no good and the way you have taken his responsibilities from him has enraged him in so many ways,” he continued, bowing to humble himself in front of his master.

“How dare you criticize me? He’s a naive man with a kind heart and I know he has no grudge towards me or else he would’ve done something to me already with all of his pure blood powers,” barks the Minister.

“He can’t just kill you. You are considered his master. Since you gave him a home when he was an orphan, his vampire instincts tell him to obey you no matter what. But in the world of pure blood, being able to overcome any obstacle is a very common practice.” Jin discloses to the old man feeling more tense than ever.

A moment of silence comes to the room’s atmosphere, leaving the two friends to come to some kind of conclusion regarding the matter.

“I expect you to leave now,” the Minister orders.

“Goodbye, master,” Jin says, finding his way out the door.
